New Syllabus for Postman/Mail Guard Limited Departmental Competitive Examination


Part A: It will consist of 25 questions, each carrying one mark, from General Knowledge. Topics will be from Indian Geography, Indian Culture & Freedom Struggle, Civics, Indian Economy, General Science, Current Affairs and Reasoning & Analytical ability of 10th standard.
Part B: It will consist of 25 questions, each carrying one mark, from Mathematics. Topics will be from Percentages, Ratio & Proportion, Profit & Loss, Simple Interest, Average, Discount, Partnership, Time & Work and Time & Distance.
Part C (i): It will consist of 25 questions, each carrying one mark, from English. Topics will be from Articles, Prepositions, conjunctions, tenses, verbs, synonyms & antonyms, vocabulary and questions from a small unseen passage. Part C (ii) will have 25 questions from regional language. In Hindi, it will be from Mishr & Sanyukt Vakya, Vakyo ka Rupantaran, Alankar, Muhavare & Lokoktiyan, Ashudh Vakya Shodhan and questions from Apathit Gadyansh.

Part A: It will consist of 25 questions, each carrying one mark, from General Knowledge. Topics will be from Geography, Indian &Sports, General Polity & History, Freedom Struggle, Culture Constitution of lndia, Economics, General Science, Current Affairs and Reasoning & Analytical ability of 10th standard.
Part B: It will consist of 25 questions, each carrying one mark, from Mathematics. Topics will be from Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals & Fractions, Relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio & Proportion, Profit & Loss, Simple Interest, Average, Discount, Partnership, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Use of Tables & Graphs, Mensuration.
Part C (i): It will consist of 25 questions, each carrying one mark, from English. Topics will be from Articles, Prepositions, conjunctions, tenses, verbs, synonyms & antonyms, vocabulary, sentence structure, Proverbs, Phrases, questions from a small unseen passage etc. Part C (ii) will have 25 questions from regional language. In Hindi, it will be from Shabd Pad, Kriya Bhed, Mishr & Sanyukt Vakya, Vakyo ka Rupantaran, Swar Sandhi, Alankar, Samas, Muhavare & Lokoktivan, Ashudh Vakya Shodhan, Apathit Gadyansh.

New Syllabus for Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) Limited Departmental Competitive Examination and Direct Recruitment Examination from open market: It will also have Part A, B, C (i) and C (ii) having 25 questions of 25 marks in each part. Topics will also be approximately same.
