Latest news about CTET 2012 exam postponed in Manipur, Punjab & Uttarkhand

Dear applicants of CTET,

Here is a latest news about CTET 2012 exam with reference to a press release by CBSE. The CTET exam was scheduled to be conducted on January 29th, 2012. But as adviced by Election Commission of India, the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2012 exam are postponed for the states of Manipur, Punjab and Uttarakhand due to General Election for Legislative Assemblies in the above mentioned states. So now the new exam date for CTET 2012 exam for Manipur, Punjab, Uttarkhand, Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali are postponed to May 5th, 2012 on Saturday. The details of the examination centres for the above states are as follows:

CTET 2012 Examination Centre for Manipur State:
Imphal - Centre code is 46 which has 02 centres

CTET 2012 Examination Centre for Punjab State:
Bhathinda - Centre code is 52 which has 24 centres
Jalandhar - Centre code is 53 which has 19 centres

CTET 2012 Examination Centre for Uttarakhand State:
Dehradun - Centre code is 64 which has 14 centres
Haldwani - Centre code is 65 which has 10 centres
Pant Nagar - Centre code is 66 which has 05 centres
Roorkee - Centre code is 67 which has 20 centres

CTET 2012 Examination Centre for Chandigarh State/UT:
Chandigarh/Panchkula/Mohali - Centre code is 11 which has 39 centres

So the candidates have to keep their admit cards safe so as to appear for the above mentioned examination centres for the postponed examination. The CTET 2012 exam will be held as per schedule for the remaining states on 29.01.2012 on Sunday.
