About Railway Recruitment Board exam (RRB) entrance exam

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Exam is conducted for job recruitments in Indian Railways in various posts. This all India job entrance exam is conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board and for getting a railway job you need to pass this RRB exam. The selection for different posts on various job vacancies in Railways is made on the basis of a written test as well as an interview.

RRB entrance exam structure and question pattern

The RRB exam question papers will cover various subjects including General Arithmetic, Analytical and Quantitative Skills, General Awareness as well as General English or General Hindi skills. There will be more or less 100 - 120 RRB exam MCQ objective type questions. The candidates are required to complete the exam in the specified duration of 90 minutes. For general categories, the application fee is Rs. 40/- i.e for posts having pay scales of 3050 – 4590 and Rs. 60/- for all posts having a salary higher than that.
