Here you can refer for the notification of IBPS Specialist Officer Exam. The syllabus for IBPS Technical Officer, IT Officer, Marketing Officer, HR Officer, Technical Officer and Agriculture Field Officer have common well known syllabus which has 4 test papers as follows.
Test of Reasoning - 50 questions which carries 50 marks
English Language Test - 50 questions which carries 25 marks
Quantitative aptitude- 50 questions which carries 50 marks
Test of Professional Knowledge - 50 questions which carries 75 marks.

Both IT Officer and Technical Officer has its own values. So I think, you could go for the one, which you are comfortable with, as it depends upon your subject knowledge and your experience on the related field. The recruiting bank will determines the number of vacancies.

my query is the what type of question a btech student having electronics and instrumentation branch opted for it officer faced in exam?is it from c,c++ and os or IT related subject or its from the branch subjects of electronics and instrumentation?i am in big dilemma.though i am e&i student i must know about the question pattern because if i opted for it officer and got question on their IT related subjects i wil never qualify the exam but if i got my branch subjects in exam then it wil better for me sir.if u just clear my query i will be obliged.
