Name of posts: Assistant Director

Number of posts: 13 posts (GEN- 07, S.C. Punjab-02, SC ESM/LDESM, Punjab 01, BC (Punjab)- 02, Sports Person, Punjab- 01 )

Pay scale: 10300-34800 + (Grade pay 4400)

Age limit: 18-37 years of age on the 01-01-2012 (Age relaxation as per Govt. rules)

Educational qualification: To apply for Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) Asst Director recruitment 2012 candidate should be M.A. Second Division from a recognized University OR Graduate of a recognized university with Social Science as one of the subjects. Preference will be given to M.A. in any subject of social sciences with experience of National Service Scheme or National Cadet Corps for a minimum period of two years.

Application procedure: Eligible candidates can send their application on prescribed format available at Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) website from the office of Punjab Public Service Commission, Baradari Gardens, Patiala, fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature, super scribe the name of the post to be applied for on the envelope and send it along with DD and Copies of all relevant certificates, to the following address, Secretary, Punjab Public Service Commission, Patiala on or before 14-05-2012.

Application fee: Applicants need to obtain Application form by hand or by post by paying at counter25/- or through post by sending a Bank Draft of75/- along with 2 self addressed envelopes by attaching stamps worth25/-. Candidates need to pay application fee of200/- (Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/OBCs of Punjab) in form of a crossed Bank Draft, in original, drawn in favour of the Secretary, Punjab Public Service Commission, and payable at Patiala. Ex-servicemen are exempted from payment of fee.
