SSC Stenographer exam structure and pattern

It consists of 3 sections they are:
A. English Language & Comprehension
B. General Awareness and
C. General Reasoning
All these sections will carry 200 marks.

The entire question paper will be Objective type and each wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted in your score. So you need to be sure of your answers as there will be negative marking for SSC Stenographer exam. The time allowed to complete the exam of SSC Stenographers Exam 2012 will be for 2 hours. Candidates need to qualify in this exam, so that they can take up Skill Test.

In SSC Steno exam, the General Awareness section consists of 50 questions which carries 50 marks.

In General Awareness section the questions will be intended to test how far the candidate have understood the surroundings around him and its application to society.

SSC Stenographer Grade C and D model question paper for General Intelligence and Reasoning

This paper consists of 50 questions which carries 50 marks and this includes questions on both verbal and nonverbal type. The test will consist of questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc. This test is conducted to test, how far the candidate have the ability to relate symbols and their relationships, their arithmetical skills will be tested along with other analytical functions.
