Gujarat Postal Assistant 2012 eligibility details
Age limit: The age limit for postal assistant job 2012 for Gujarat postal circle recruitment should be between 18 to 27 years. Upper age limit is relaxed for SC/sT by 5 years and OBC by 3 years.
Educational qualification: The candidate must have passed 10+2 standard or 12th class with not less than 60% marks and above with English as a compulsory subject. 55% for OC and 45% for SC/ST. The candidate should have studided local language of the State/UT of the Postal Circle concerned or Hindi should be taken as a subject at Matriculation level.
Selection procedure, syllabus and exam pattern for Gujarat Postal assistant and sorting assistant recruitment 2012
Candidates will be selected based on the performance of the written test followed by Computer/typing test. There will be an aptitude test which consists of 100 questions carrying 100 marks. The postal assistant exam paper comprises of four parts and duration of the written exam will be for 2 hrs. Application cost: The application cost of postal assistant exam 2012 is 50 and will be available on all Head Post Offices and identified Post Offices in the Circle.
Examination fees: Candidates have to deposit 200 towards examination fees and has to be remitted in te Post Office of the Circle Concerned in which the candidate wishes to apply. Upon depositing obtain ACG-67/UCR receipt. SC/ST/PH/women candidates are exempted from examination fee payment.
