UPSC SCRA 2013 examination online application process

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India.

  • The age limit for UPSC SCRA 2013 should be between 17 to 21 years as on 01.01.2013. However the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC

  • The minimum educational qualification required to apply for SCRA examination 2013 as per the notification is intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination passed in first or second division. For detailed educational eligibility refer official notification of UPSC SCRA 2013.

UPSC SCRA 2013 exam pattern and syllabus

No changes in UPSC SCRA 2013 exam pattern or syllabus. As usual the entrance exam for UPSC SCRA 2013 consists of Part I written examination and Part II personality test. The Part I of UPSC SCRA exam have three papers which carries 200 marks each. Time allowed to complete the each paper is 2 hours.

The syllabus for UPSC SCRA 2013 is as follows.
Paper I - General Ability Test (Comprises English, General Knowledge and Psychological Test)
Paper II - Physical Sciences (Questions from Physics and Chemistry)
Paper III - Mathematics

The Part II Personality Test carries 200 marks. Only the candidates who qualified in Part I written examination are eligible to take up Part II personality test.

Candidates needs to be aware that there will be negative marking for SCRA 2013 exam for wrong answers and so candidates needs to be sure of the question before answering them.

How to apply for UPSC SCRA 2013 examination?

Application fees: The cost of application form of UPSC SCRA 2013 is 100 and SC/ST/PH /female candidates are exempted from payment of fees. Candidates can remit the fees in any SBI branches by cash, or by the way of netbanking or by using any Visa/Master Credit or Debit card

How to apply: Before you apply, upload your passport size photograph and signature scanned. The online registration for UPSC SCRA 2013 consists of two parts. Candidates needs to fill the online application form for UPSC SCRA 2013 through Part I registration through UPSC official website. Duly fill the details on Part I registration and hit the submit button. You will get a system generated registration Id. Make a note of this and you need to use this registration id to proceed towards your Part II online registration for UPSC SCRA 2013.
