The Staff Selection Committee (SSC) has announced its FCI examination results 2012-2013 for various posts across the country. The examination was conducted by the SSC team earlier in the year during the month of November in the second week. Now the results have officially aired by the Staff Selection committee. SSC FCI Results 2012-13 candidates selected and result status

The all important SSC FCI Grade 3 exam was conducted in November and number of candidate who appeared for the examination tallied around over 9 lakhs in number based on 15 lakhs applications received earlier in the year after the advertisement issued. In respective to this, the number of candidates who are selected are around 1.5 lakhs in number. So there is almost 1:60 candidate selection ratio this year. The candidate who are unable to qualify for the respective exam shall be discontinued from the panel of selection for further recruitment process in the year 2013. The all important SSC FCI grade 3 exam shall move forward with these candidates in next stages. Given below is the categorically number of students been selected in their respective merit list.

Merit List 1: The number of candidates who have been selected in the first list are ranging in number of about 76,230 in number. It is said that number of students selected in this list is particularly high from the state of Haryana.

Merit List 2: The candidate selection for this list are about the same in number which is about 73,018. Candidate's name and detail result information are made live at the official site.

It is said that there are candidates who have been selected in between the list 1 and list 2. The numbers are actually figured out to be 20,392 in number.

Got selected in the Exam, now what to do next for the preparation?

If you have received your results, and have got selected in the first phase, then you are finally through the first hurdle. Now your respective next preparation will be based on your performance of your exam result which means that according to your name appearance in the respective Merit list, you shall be preparing for the next papers accordingly. So respective candidates selected in the appropriate list should take note of the following information:

Next phase for Merit List 1 candidates: Candidates got selected in the first merit list shall be preparing for the second paper in AG-III for post codes A,B and D. So your respective category of studying in the next phase will have MCQs and English language based questions. We are even given you the expected number of questions as per past year's exam in the respective category. The paper shall be of 100 marks and respectively shall carry around 50 questions from Quantitative section comprising majorly the multiple choice questions and 100 questions from English comprehension and language section.

Next phase for Merit List 2 candidates: The candidates who have been selected for the list 2 section shall be recruited further for Technical cadre line whose post code is C. The respective selected in this zone shall study Biological sciences section where around 200 questions would be asked for 200 marks. Time limit shall be the same which is 2 hours duration.

For both the categories stated above, there will be negative marking for wrong answers inputted and shall carry a weightage of around 0.50 marks.

Result card and performance sheet for SSC FCI Grade 3 exams

Since many of the candidates haven't got selected for the above merit list 1 and 2 shall therefore receive their result cards sooner in January month. The candidates who have been selected for the exam shall receive their result sheets first and then afterwards the non selected candidates.
