Reserve Bank of India invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of Assistants to fill up 525 vacancies in various offices of the Bank for which the last date to apply is 20.06.2013. Pay scale: The salary for Assistant jobs in RBI is 21419/- per month along with other admissible allowances.
Age limit: The age limit for RBI Assistant vacancies is between 18 to 28 years.
Educational qualification: The candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with not less than 50% marks aggregate (Pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) and knowledge of word processing on PC is required.Selection process for RBI recruitment 2013 for Assistant vacancies
Candidates will be selected based on online written test and interview. The online written test for RBI Assistant is to be held from 20.07.2013 to 28.07.2013.RBI Assistant exam syllabus, pattern and model question papers
The online examination for RBI Assistant is of objective type multiple choice questions consists of Tests of Reasoning, Tests of English Language, Test of General Awareness, Tests of Numerical Ability, Tests of Computer Knowledge. Each tests carries 40 questions with 40 marks. The time duration given to complete the exam is 2 hours.
Please note that there will be negative marking for RBI Assistant exam for which 1/4th of marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Application fees: General/OBC candidates need to pay 400 which can be made either online or offline. SC/ST/PWD/EXS/Staff candidates are exempted from fee payment.
To pay the fees online, the application form is integrated with online payment facility where candidates can use their netbanking or Credit/Debit, Master/Visa Cards.
For offline payment, candidates need to take challan from the website and have to remit the amount on the 2nd working day after registration, which have to be made within 3 working days, and it has to be paid at CBS branches on any one of the following 7 Public Sector Banks viz Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Central Bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank, United Bank of India.
Eligible interested candidates need to apply online for RBI recruitment at rbi.org.in, for which the link for online application form for RBI Assistants will be available from 30.05.2013 from 2:00 pm onwards. Before applying, scan your photograph and signature. Access the official website of RBI and duly fill the RBI Assistant online application form, upload your scanned photograph and signature, make the payment and hit the submit button.
