How to check CSAB 2014 first allotment results

Candidates are requested to keep ready their Roll number and Date of Birth to check their result, Provisional Seat Allotment Result - Round 1. Follow the steps given herewith.

1. Visit official site at http://csab.nic.in/csabcounsellingSpot/result/Result.aspx
2. Enter Roll Number
3. Enter Date of Birth
4. Click on 'Submit' to get the detail

The allotments are based on the choices of Institutes and courses registered by those eligible for Central Counselling based on the ranks of JEE (Main) 2014.

Initial fee detail for CSAB 2014

Candidates has to pay Initial fee through the link 'Pay Initial Fee' at the CSAB website, they can select bank between SBI and ICICI bank as per students convenience for remittance of fee. No Demand Drafts / Cheques / Cash will be honored at the reporting centre. The initial fee paid is part of the total fee of the allotted institute and would be adjusted / deducted towards the total fee payable by the candidates at the time of final admission in allotted institutes.

Candidates who have got allotment after depositing initial fee of Rs. 40,000/- have to report at one of the Reporting Centres by 15th July 2014 (Tuesday) and 5 pm or 17th July 2014 (Thursday) 5 pm. Students can check the list of reporting centres which is given in the CSAB website. Letters will not be sent to the candidates. The allotment of those who do not report at a Reporting Center, shall stand cancelled. They will not be considered for further rounds of seat allotment, except for Spot Round for which they have to register afresh during the scheduled time.

Student must present all the relevant certificates in original for verification, signed printout of locked choices and provisional allotment letter printed from the website, when they report to the relevant Reporting Center. Proof (Print out / SMS / Email) of online payment of initial fee of Rs. 40,000/- is also to be shown at the time of reporting.

Option I is for the Candidate who would like to be considered for all of their higher preference choices (across the institutes) during further rounds of seat allotment. Option II is for the Candidate who would like to remain within the institute allotted to them and wish to be considered for higher choices within the institute. Students choosing to remain with the institute and branch allotted to them should select Option III. Candidates who choose Option III will not have any further change. Option I and Option II candidates will forfeit their claim on seats allotted to them in earlier rounds, if they are allotted other seats against their higher preference choices during subsequent rounds.

From 2013 onwards, Central Counseling Board (CCB) and All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE) has been renamed as Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) and JEE (Mains) respectively. The CSAB for 2014 has been constituted with Director, Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, as its Chairman.
